VETERANS’ REPRESENTATION
The American Legion is the nation’s largest and most effective advocate in Washington D.C. for veterans, troops and their families. The American Legion fights every day on Capitol Hill and across the country for a quality VA health-care system, improved benefits processing and a decent quality of life for active-duty military personnel.
BENEFIT ASSISTANCE
The American Legion helps all veterans obtain full medical, career and education benefits, as well as assistance in preparing VA claims applications.
ACCREDITED SERVICE OFFICERS
The American Legion has trained experts in veteran benefits across the state. The Pennsylvania American Legion has several service officers located throughout the state and we will assist you in applying for your benefits. This is a service we provide to all veterans.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR VETERANS
The American Legion works closely with numerous employers, lenders and agencies, including the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration, to produce hundreds of career events across the country each year. The Legion is also the nation’s leading advocate for veteran entrepreneurs and job candidates who have service-connected disabilities.
